Putuna Chasm

14 January 2017  We were invited to join a walk in the Putuna Chasm in the south Wairarapa.  It organised by Cecily's friend Mandy and her family, husband John and their children Hannah and Anthony.  Eleven of us including Mandy's Mum, Louise.  What a spectacular three hour walk!  Mandy had wisely brought a blow up flotation ring to help us through the deep water at the end.  There was still some drama, and Cecily did a great rescue job up and down the deep water with the help of the flotation ring!
