An 80th birthday party at Sunrise hut

26 November - a large group of Thursday trampers (27 of us) walked up to Sunrise hut in the eastern Ruahines.  The sun was shining but the wind was very strong higher up around the hut.  We were celebrating Gordon's 80th birthday.  It is a two hour walk up to the hut and three 80 year olds in our group made it up to the hut.
