Naturelands Park, Tahunanui Beach, Nelson

Tuesday 29 September - a morning visit to Naturelands Park with Owen, Jeremy, Aria and Nina.  What a great place to bring the children to - a mixture of farm park, aviary and zoo.  Highlights were the pigs! And hand feeding the alpacas and goats.

The next day Owen and I went for a MTB ride up the Matai Valley and part of the Dun  Mountain track

On the way back to Picton we stayed a night at Havelock.  Owen took this photo of Royal Spoonbills at the estuary.
Of course we had mussels for dinner.

Finding a geocache in the bush at Picton.  On the way we happened to meet up with some friends of Andrea's  - so it was a group find by eight children!
