Bandelier National Monument NM

10 June
White Rock Outlook - a view over the Rio Grande river 700 feet below
Bandelier National Monument - we were taken here by a free shuttle bus as parking is very limited, and took an hour's walk through Frijoles Canyon.  Here the Anasazi Indians settled in the 12th century and flourished until about 1550 when they abandoned this site - leaving many dwelling holes in the cliffs, accessed by ladders.
