After yesterday's very long, hard day Kylie and I both craved scrambled eggs and coffee. We found a great cafe for breakfast! Then it was time for a break, Kylie travelled to meet an aunt in Timaru and I relaxed first at Lake Tekapo Village, then on to Twizel.

The weather was very windy, and would not have been great for tramping.
Kylie met me at Twizel on my birthday. She brought me this birthday cake! We had dinner together at a local restaurant that evening.
