Kalamazoo - farewell to Michigan State and the USA

8 July - An early start, and Bonnie kindly drove us to Kalamazoo, MI, where we would catch an AMTRAK train back to Chicago and then start our long flights back to New Zealand.

Thank you Bonnie, you planned an amazing itinerary for us and you did an amazing amount of driving.  You were always a warm, pleasant and patient companion.  We appreciated your enthusiasm for cycling and your knowledge of Michigan State and its wildlife!  You gave us a wonderful tour and it was sad to say goodbye.
